Austin Fields
Austin Fields, originally from Texas, is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans fine art, photography, and glassblowing. Known for her evocative exploration of light, reflection, and abstraction, Austin brings a distinctive voice to contemporary glass art. She earned her BFA in Glass and Sculpture from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2017, where she laid the foundation for her deep engagement with materiality and form.
After completing her degree, Austin relocated to Los Angeles to further develop her career as a glass artist and creative force. Her artistic process is rooted in spontaneity and intuition, as she sculpts molten glass into fluid, organic shapes that often echo the natural curves of the human body. Drawing inspiration from the interplay of landscapes, lightscapes, and dreamscapes, her work invites viewers into a space of reflection and wonder, capturing both the physicality and ethereality of the medium.
Austin’s work has been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums across the country, including the Sarasota Art Museum and the Dallas Museum of Art Gallery. Her pieces are also part of prominent private and corporate collections, among them Mercedes-Benz, as well as numerous distinguished private residences. Through her innovative approach and mastery of her craft, Austin Fields continues to push the boundaries of contemporary glass art, inviting audiences to experience the transformative power of light and form.
