The 48th Annual Corona del Mar Home Tour, which took place Tuesday, March 1, offering the public a unique opportunity to view seven beautiful homes throughout Corona del Mar and Newport Beach was a huge success!
Although monies raised have yet to be totaled, more than 1,400 tickets were sold, thanks to ticket sales, opportunity drawings, and the support of sponsors, underwriters and friends benefiting student programs at Corona del Mar High and Middle schools.
“We were so thrilled to say ‘Welcome Home’ to more than 1,400 guests and to everyone who came together to make our 48th Annual Corona del Mar Home Tour a success!,” said CdMHS PTA President Julie Means. “These valuable contributions make it possible to provide all of our middle and high school students with a world-class education, show them how much they mean to us and emphasize our commitment to their future.”
The sixth home from a CdM alumni family is a spacious two-story home in Irvine Terrace where rustic farmhouse meets modern amenities, creating warm, inviting spaces from the rare book library to the wine bar. Hearty stone and vintage wood welcome you through the entryway, window coverings glide open at the touch of a button, while at the same time small windows throughout harken back to a past era. Carefully selected artworks, mostly sourced by the homeowner’s daughter, proprietor of Kennedy Contemporary Gallery in Westcliff, can be seen throughout.
