Embodied: Figures in Contemporary Art

27 October - 25 November 2025

Embodied: Figures in Contemporary Art will be on view October 27 – November 25, with an opening reception on Thursday, November 6, from 5–7 PM.

Centering on the human form, this exhibition delves into the complexities of the body as both subject and symbol. Featuring gallery artists Chris Gwaltney, Shane McClatchey, and Sharon Paster alongside guest artists Kelley Mogilka, Kayla Janes, and Lisa Golightly, the show highlights diverse approaches to figuration—from traditional, representational techniques to bold, abstract interpretations. Each artist brings a distinct vision, exploring the figure to reveal emotional depth, psychological nuance, and the many facets of human experience. Through their varied mediums and inventive approaches, the works offer intimate glimpses into identity, vulnerability, resilience, and strength.
