Established in 2021, Kennedy Contemporary is a contemporary art gallery and art advisory based in Newport Beach, California. Founded on the belief that art should be both collectible and accessible, the gallery brings together a dynamic roster of nationally and internationally recognized artists whose work spans a range of perspectives, mediums, and approaches to contemporary art.

 

Through our rotating exhibition program, we introduce collectors to exceptional works and compelling collections by our artists. Our curatorial approach is guided by a desire to present art that sparks curiosity, encourages conversation, and brings lasting meaning to the spaces in which we live.

 

Beyond the gallery, we work closely with private collectors, interior designers, and corporate clients to thoughtfully source and integrate artwork into their environments. Whether acquiring a standalone piece, building a collection, or curating art for an entire home, we offer personalized guidance throughout the process. From artwork selection and custom commissions to digital renderings and installation, our goal is to make collecting a rewarding and seamless experience.

    Kennedy Contemporary was founded by Victoria Kennedy, whose background encompasses contemporary art, gallery management, and art curation. With more than a decade of experience in the contemporary art world, Victoria has worked alongside an international roster of artists and collectors, expanding her knowledge of the international art market and its evolving landscape. She holds a bachelor's degree in Religious Studies and Art History from Stanford University and a master's degree in Art Business from Claremont Graduate University.

    Driven by a desire to bring a fresh perspective to the Orange County art community, Victoria established Kennedy Contemporary as a gallery centered on meaningful connections between artists, collectors, and designers. Today, that vision continues to shape the gallery's thoughtfully curated exhibitions, artist relationships, and approach to collecting.

    Gallery Manager

    Tessa Collins brings a unique combination of fine arts education, business operations experience, and a genuine appreciation for contemporary art and design to her role as Gallery Manager at Kennedy Contemporary. A graduate of the University of California, Irvine's Claire Trevor School of the Arts, Tessa holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Studio Art, with a foundation in painting, composition, and contemporary art critique.

    Prior to joining Kennedy Contemporary, Tessa spent more than a decade working across investment, commercial real estate, and client relations, supporting executive leadership and managing complex projects and operations. Her experience working with high-net-worth clients, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and overseeing detailed operational processes brings a thoughtful, organized, and client-focused perspective to the gallery. At Kennedy Contemporary, Tessa plays an integral role in the gallery's daily operations and collector experience. Combining her artistic background with her professional experience, she helps create a welcoming environment where collectors, designers, and visitors can engage with contemporary art.
